These Terms apply to bookings made with Euro Airport Ride (“we”, “us”, “our”), a business registered in Finland (euroairportride.com).
These Terms govern the airport transfer and transport services you book through our website. By completing a booking, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms. If you are booking on behalf of other passengers, you accept these Terms on their behalf.
These Terms are written in English, which is the operative language of your contract with us.
We provide private airport transfers and related transport services (airport pickup, airport drop-off, intercity and private transfers).
We are responsible to you for providing the transfer you book. We arrange and deliver the service using professional drivers who operate as our subcontractors. You contract with us, not with the individual driver, and we are your point of contact throughout.
We may substitute the assigned driver or vehicle with one of equal or higher standard where operationally necessary; this does not change the service you booked.
To book, you must give accurate and complete information, including: passenger name, contact details, pickup location, destination, date and time, flight number (required for airport pickups), number of passengers and luggage, and any special requirements.
A booking becomes a binding contract only when we send you a written confirmation (by email). Until then, no contract exists.
We may decline or cancel a booking — and will refund you in full if we do — where:
If you give incorrect information (wrong flight number, wrong address, wrong time) and this prevents us from performing the transfer, this is treated under the no-show rules in clause 9.
The price shown at checkout is the total price you pay. It is quoted in euros (EUR) and includes VAT and all standard charges for the route booked (driver, vehicle, fuel, standard airport access and tolls on the booked route).
We will tell you before you pay if any extra could apply later, and such extras only arise from things within your control, for example:
Payment is taken securely at the time of booking through our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store your full card details.
Under EU and Finnish consumer law, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to passenger transport services and to services arranged for a specific date or period. Airport transfers fall into these categories. Your ability to cancel is therefore governed by clause 7 below, which we apply instead.
Changes. Ask us to change a confirmed booking at least 24 hours before pickup and we will do our best to accommodate it free of charge. Changes requested inside 24 hours cannot be guaranteed and may require a new booking.
Cancellation by you.
We apply this because a confirmed transfer commits a driver and vehicle to your slot. Refunds are processed to your original payment method, normally within 5–10 business days.
Cancellation by us. If we cancel a confirmed booking for any reason other than your no-show or your breach of these Terms, you receive a full refund. Where the cancellation is within our control and causes you direct, reasonable additional cost, clause 11 applies.
Meeting point. Airport pickups take place at the meeting point we confirm to you. After landing, please go to that point and keep your phone reachable by call or WhatsApp. Meeting points can occasionally change at short notice due to airport rules or security; we will notify you if so.
Free waiting time.
We monitor flights and adjust for normal delays at no charge. Waiting beyond the free allowance may incur a reasonable, pre-notified per-hour charge.
A no-show occurs where, after the free waiting time has passed, you have not arrived at the meeting point and we cannot reach you by phone or WhatsApp, or you have gone to a location that makes pickup impossible. No refund is given for a no-show.
If your flight is significantly delayed, diverted or arrives the next day, this is not a no-show — contact us as soon as you can and we will rearrange the transfer where possible (a new booking or extra charge may apply if the change is substantial).
Vehicles are assigned to the luggage you declare. Significant excess luggage may require a different vehicle or an extra charge, or in some cases cannot be carried. Dangerous, illegal or prohibited items may not be transported. Smoking, abusive behaviour and damage to the vehicle are not permitted, and the cost of any damage caused may be charged to you.
We will provide your transfer with reasonable skill and care. If we fail to do so, we are responsible to you for the loss you suffer as a direct and foreseeable result.
We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so — this includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, and for any rights you have as a consumer under mandatory Finnish law that cannot be limited by contract.
Subject to that, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses (such as missed flights, missed connections, lost earnings or loss of enjoyment), and our total liability for any booking is limited to a reasonable amount, which will not normally exceed the price you paid for that booking — except where the law requires otherwise.
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including traffic, weather, airport or government action, or other force majeure (clause 13).
We are not responsible for personal belongings left in a vehicle, though we will make reasonable efforts to help you recover them.
Please contact us first — most issues are resolved quickly. If we cannot resolve a complaint, as a consumer in Finland you may refer it to:
If you live in another EU country, you keep the protection of, and may use the dispute bodies and courts of, your country of residence. Nothing in these Terms removes your mandatory consumer rights.
We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, strikes, war or terrorism, epidemics, border closures, airport closures, government action, or failure of payment or communication systems. We will tell you and, where the transfer cannot be performed, refund amounts paid for the affected service.
We may update these Terms. The version that applies to your booking is the one in force when you book. For material changes we will give reasonable notice; changes do not affect bookings already confirmed.
These Terms are governed by Finnish law. This does not deprive you, as a consumer, of the protection of mandatory rules of the country where you live.
If any part of these Terms is found invalid, the rest continues to apply. Our not enforcing a right at any time does not waive it.
