About this airport
King Abdulaziz International Airport (JED) is the gateway on Saudi Arabia's Red Sea coast, about 29 kilometres from central Jeddah and roughly 30 minutes away by private car on the city's highways. A pre-arranged car with a driver waiting at the terminal is the most reliable way in — particularly for the many pilgrims and visitors continuing onward.
